Summary of the book "Aesop - Storyteller or philosopher"
Aesop, the great Greek mythologist of antiquity, was an amazing connoisseur of human life. With his myths, where usually "humanized" animals are the protagonists, he gives a relief image of man and society.
Humor and satire, compliments and serious thoughts come out of the mouths of such animals. This trick allows him to freely tell "annoying" truths, while giving a comic character to the myths.
Most of the didactic content describes human characters, behaviors and social situations. If there was one thing that could reduce human error and flaws, it would probably be their mockery. This is exactly what happens in the myths of Aesop.
This book is enough for a simple translation of the myths, while each didactic myth is accompanied by a "fairy tale". What is special about this work is that the classification of the myths was done alphabetically based on their content. At the end of the book is an index of the main characters that appear in the myths.
